Best time to visit Hidlumane Falls

The ideal time would be post monsoon that is October to February. You can enjoy waterfalls at its best. Monsoon will be a risky affair as the water current would be too high and the trek would be welcomed by leeches. Make sure to carry all the necessary goods before your trip to Hidlumane Falls.

How to reach Hidlumane Falls

By Road

A bus is advisable as you will not have to drive before and after your trek to Hidlumane falls. Nittur and Kodachadri have excellent bus services from Bengaluru, Shivamogga, Mysuru and Mangaluru as KSRTC operates the facility.

You can find loads of buses to Nittur and Kodachadri from Majestic, Basaveshwara Bus Stand - Peenya.


By Rail

Nearest Railway station would be Anandapuram Railway Station and the stop id is ANF.

There are trains which run every day from Bengaluru to Talaguppa, Sagara, Shivamogga.
